    This place was not bad for us, but just ten seconds at looking at the menu and you can tell this place is just catered towards non-authentic Japanese rolls. More than 50% of their rolls are drenched in some sort of sauce or mayo.

    My family came on a Sunday and their chicken bowl was on special for $5. The chicken was actually very good and it came with white rice. We also ordered an Albacore Roll, the Assorted Sashmi (15 pieces) and Mix Sushi (12 pieces Assorted Nigiri Sushi). Our meal was pretty good, but I might have thought otherwise if we ordered other items off the menu.

    I've ordered from this restaurant before and it was delicious. The sushi IS great, but if you're ordering from UberEats, as I did tonight, prepare to be drastically disappointed.
    Why? Well, I didn't have any soy sauce. So when I ordered my food, I asked for extra soy sauce, wasabi and ginger.
    I received two soy sauce packets.
    WTF am I supposed to do with two packets of soy sauce with two full rolls and an order of baked mussels?
    It's just ridiculous. Normally, I don't care because I have enough soy sauce but tonight I didn't. It's the equivalent of ordering a carne asada burrito and not getting any sauce.
    Yeah, the food tastes good, but it doesn't taste great, like it could've with the accoutrements requested....
    I'm disappointed and pissed and don't think I'll be ordering from a restaurant that can't follow simple directions.

    About the only Japanese sushi restaurant in San Diego that offers gluten free soy sauce and GF options! The server is also very knowledgeable about GF food prepping, such as miso soup is not GF! I'm so impressed!

    Great fresh sushi! Customer service was excellent as they really cater for you and take the time to converse with you. The Chefs really know what they're doing trust me you won't ever regret going here

    Jump Tokyo is a favorite in San Diego. I found this place by accident and have loved it ever since. The staff makes me feel like family. The sushi is delicious and they're very quick and accommodating.
